Welcome to JK Bulletin, In this post we will give you information about SCHOLARSHIP: Announcement of Minority Scholarship 2022-23 Pre-Matric,Post-Matric and Merit-cum-Means Scholarship.
Social Welfare Department J&K invites on-line applications from the students belonging to the Minority Communities notified by the Central Government viz, Muslim, Christian, Sikhs, Buddist, Zorashtrian (Parsi) and Jains of UT of J&K pursuing studies in India in a Government or recognized Private University/Institute/ College/School. On-line implementation of Pre-matric, Post-matric and Merit-cum-Means Based Scholarship will be done through the common National Scholarship Portal at www.scholarship.gov.in (a link of the site is also made available in the website of this Ministry i.e.. www.minority affairs.gov.in of Mobile App- National Scholarships (NSP). Only online applications under these Schemes will be accepted and no request for Offline applications will be entertained.
1. The applicant should be the student of a notified minority community (Jain, Sikh, Muslim and Christian). 2. Applicant should be pursuing studies in India in govemment or recognized private University/ Institute/College/ School.
3. The course being pursued should be of minimum one year duration. 4. The applicant should have secured 50% marks in the last annual board or class examination

Applicants are advised to apply online against any one of the scholarship schemes on the website of National Scholarship Portal at www.scholarships.gov.in (a link to the site is also available at www-minorityaffairs.gov.in) or Mobile App NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS (NSP). 2. Details of “Institution” for filling in online application and “Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are available on the National Scholarship Portal homepage.
For Universities/ Institutions/ Institutions / Institutions / Colleges / Schools:
All Universities / Institutions / Colleges / Schools having valid AISHE /U-DISE / NCVT / SCVT codes, located in the UT are advised to register themselves and get their KYC and Aadhaar-demo-Authentication done at the earliest. They should also be get their course details updated on the NSP at the earliest so that their students can apply and they can verify such applications on the Portal within the timelines. The timelines need to be adhered to strictly.
